Born in New Zealand, Harrison began his career as an electronics engineer with Ericsson – a world-leading supplier of telecommunications. Harrison subsequently joined Philips - Europe's largest electronics company to sell private telephone exchanges to government and major corporations. In his first year in sales he became the company’s top salesperson – selling the entire company’s national budget for the year.

In 1991, Harrison joined the Australian branch of Philadelphia based Unisys Corporation to resolve a number of complex technical issues, negotiate contracts and rebuild the relationship between the company and a major reseller of automation to the retail travel industry. With personal annual sales exceeding $20 million, Harrison joined "The Achievers Club" surpassing sales targets by 165%.

Harrison took a year off to travel the world and fulfill a lifelong dream of adventure and discovery eventually spending the next six years based in Hawaii and Southern California. During this time he co-founded a marketing services and education business that grew into a multimillion-dollar multinational in less than eight months. In 1995, he organized and produced two advanced-marketing summits in Singapore that attracted entrepreneurs, business owners and CEO's from 14 countries around the Asia Pacific region. The first of their kind in Asia, these summits broke all previous records for revenue, attendance and set the benchmark for others to follow.

Under Harrison’s leadership the company went on to promote and produce leading-edge personal, finance and business development programs throughout the region including year-long instructor training programs, 9-day business schools for entrepreneurs and 8-day advanced business schools for investors. Investing millions of dollars in research and development, Harrison tested over 100 unconventional marketing and business development strategies, designed and created advanced client management and communication software and unique business systems. After seven years as CEO Harrison left the company to focus on leadership development and co-founded Goldzone Corporation. Goldzone’s programs and services were created from a multinational, multicultural point of view. To ensure a truly global perspective and to escape local mindsets and paradigms Harrison and co-founder Anjou MacPherson traveled continuously for 730 days staying in the world's top rated hotels, resorts and tropical islands. To date he has visited over 40 countries and 200 hotels and resorts. These experiences have strongly influenced the formation of the Goldzone vision and have inspired the creation of a unique, leading-edge service culture. Goldzone builds and develops dedicated, custom-built, leadership training centers that set a new standard of excellence, integrated technology, aesthetic environment and "five-star service." Over the next five years the Company expects to open 25 centers in the Asia Pacific region. To facilitate this rapid expansion, Harrison lives in Singapore with his wife/co-founder Anjou Harrison.

Over a twelve year period, Harrison has met and hired many well-known leaders and developed a corporate client list that reads like a “who‘s who” of business, including many of the world’s top companies.
